Britney Spears faced her demons and successfully defeated them at the 2008 MTV VMAs where she won Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year. The 26-yeal old comeback pop princess has recently revealed that her next album will be released in December. She proudly told OK! that it was her best work ever. In other news, Britney’s sons recently celebrated their birthdays, Jayden on September 12th and Sean on September 14th. Brit told the magazine “I want to have a traditional party. I have some friends with kids who I am going to invite.” As far as the custody battle goes, a Spears insider has revealed that “her goal is to regain joint custody of her sons as soon as her dad, Jamie’s status as her conservator ends.”
‘Gimme More’ Music Video Will Premiere
Britney Spears will release her first music video in more than two years this coming Monday.
The clip – for the song “Gimme More” – will premiere on MTV’s TRL at 3 p.m. ET., a rep for the network confirms to PEOPLE.
Although details about the final version of the video are being kept a secret, Spears, 25, was spotted in costume at a Los Angeles warehouse back in July, reportedly filming a video. Her outfit consisted of a short black dress, black boots and a black hat.
But it is not for certain that the footage from that particular shoot made the final cut that will air on TRL.
In fact, the video will contain footage from two different shoots, sources say.
After an underwhelming performance of the song at the Sept. 9 MTV Video Music Awards, and the ongoing bitter custody battle with ex Kevin Federline playing out in the media, rooting fans will be watching for the singer to make a big splash with the new video.
And, in spite of her travails, Spears has good news from Billboard’s Hot 100 chart this week, where “Gimme More” soared from the No. 68 position last week to No. 3. (It also continues to be the most downloaded song on iTunes.)
A rep for Spears’s record label tells PEOPLE: “Jive is enormously excited about Britney’s new album. We’re confident that it will secure her reputation as one of the great recording artists of her time.” The album is set for release Nov. 13.
Kid Rock vs. Tommy Lee Boxing Match Bonus

After Kid Rock bitch slapped Tommy Lee at the MTV VMA awards, the duo were offered $1 million dollars to settle their differences in the ring but they weren’t up for the challenge. Las Vegas entertainment maven Jeff Beacher has just offered them a hefty bonus–”I’ve teamed up with legendary boxing promoter Bob Arum,” Beacher told NY Post, “and now the prize is $5 million.” Wowie, $5 million offer just two hit eachother out of the park is great money the two should grab this offer with both hands and legs and their dick in between to earn $5 million. Kid rock is a skinny little punk who is known for sucker punching people, and then someone jumps in to stop the “fight”. He’s such a pussy. If was a famous as any of the two and had such an offer I’d strike a deal with the other and tell him hey look let’s forget our personal issues for now and get into the ring and share it 50/50. And if he still wouldn’t listen to me then I would tell him watch out, coz the next time I see you on the streets those $5 million are mine, I’ll floor you there and then.
